I suppose it's like any painting or coating operation, once you have the gear then you can buy the materials in any colour you like. The hassle is carrying stock that you may never need again and cleaning the gun between colours. I know that if I get something blasted I can have it powdered in black for loose change because they do that every week and one item extra is buttons.
 
Tell you what, I was running some mismatched CX tyres over the summer, one was knackered and the other a Schwalbe special puncture proof leaden handling model, I took them off and fitted some old road tyres I had lying army. It flies now, feels like it has got a motor.
