One for sale on the London Gumtree website in Forest Gate (£2700)dont see many of those this side of the pond.Has anybody experienced one of these?

Yes, back in the 60's in Larg's, Holborn. Blew me away but that was then, this is now, so I've no idea how it would stack up against a large pair of modern JBL's or Tannoy's. You must go and listen and report back.

Honky with a nasal "pink" colouration at the xover point, but very dynamic (ie bass shy). Certainly worth 2.5k UKP if only because an original speaker in mint condition is worth several multiples of that in Japan / HK (especially HK ;-)).
