IPad in good working condition but the charging port is faulty, it will charge if the connector/cable is lifted slightly where it enters the casing by sticking a fat pencil or similar under it but it is fiddly to find the correct amount of lift and the iPad can’t then be used while it is charging.
It is not just a case of fluff or dirt in the port, I’ve tried those tricks.
I was tempted to try and fix it by opening the case up and applying some solder as per YouTube but that looks too fiddly for me too so am offering that challenge to someone more informe/skilled/adventurous
and have ordered a newer one for myself.
Great machine for casual browsing.
32 Gb, WiFi only. Will be fully re-set for new user to configure. Will be available next week.
