Hi, what is recommended for internal wiring in a power amp?? I am putting together a pair of Avondale mono blocks in one big box and am unsure what would be best to join it all up.
I had thought to use pure monofilament silver for the input signal as that is what I use for interconnects. Silver plated stranded copper was my choice for power distribution but I was unsure just how big to go. I have some very nice 18 awg ptfe silver plated copper multistranded but this looks a bit thin for a power amp. For the output side I was thinking of staying with the silver but is 20 awg enough? Would two or three runs of 20 awg (insulated) be better?
All ideas greatfully received. Cheers Andy.
