Having just completed the transformation of a pair of the aformentioned NAP135s to ultimate standard specifically to prove just how far these remarkable units may be taken and mainly to provide photographs for the Service Pack I'm about to offer, they are now up for sale.
Specification is as follows:
Completely stripped to the last nut and bolt.
All reusable components cleaned and checked.
Regulator modules rebuilt and main devices reseated on fresh pads using stainless fixing throughout.
Fan modules rebuilt and reseated on fresh pads.
Fans serviced and checked for silent operation.
Main amplifier modules replaced by matched NCC200 variants.
Main capacitor banks/rectifiers replaced by our renowned Cap6 module.
New mains switches, fuseholders and IEC inlet sockets fitted.
New Neutrik XLR signal input sockets fitted.
New loudspeaker sockets installed.
Rewired using appropriate cables including silver PTFE co-axial for signal paths.
Thermal trips are revised and removed from the mains circuitry and this configuration means the trips work without being invasive on the sonic performance in the slightest.
Casework refurbished to a very high standard (AKA - new)
Currently configured for almost 80 Watts and soak tested for safe running at that level for several hours.
