Yesterday I installed the Chrome extension Desktop for Instagram. AFAIK this allow my iMac to access the mobile version of Instagram, as I don't have a mobile device, and all was working fine. However a little earlier Chrome decided to freeze on me and I had to force quit. On restarting and loading up the extension again I was asked to login. I had to change my password as I couldn't remember it, and now it won't let me back in. I can still access Instagram from the browser, but every time I try to login via the Desktop extension I just get sent back to the login page. At the same time I'm getting emails from Instagram telling me that I'm trying to log in from a device I don't normally use. Well, duh!
Is there any way round this? The standard non-mobile version is severely hobbled, and there is no way to upload photos. There is a workaround in Chrome using the developer tools, but it's not as good as using the extension.
Any help with this daft login problem much appreciated.
