I know, there are „slight“ differences between Zen and Zenith...
But have you compared the rip to the original from CD? What was the result?
The guy from Innuos told me, that SQ of the rip would be better as the original from CD. Would you agree to this?
@sls4321: Would you agree also?
Nice to know...
I wouldn't know, I've not used a CD player since 2010 when I started streaming with a Linn Akurate DS.
I am not sure at the moment. I am using a Rega Isis for CD.
If the result are better with Innuos Zen into Teddy DAC, I would sell
the isis, I think.
In which case, I’m aching to read your findings. I use CDS3, which you moved on preferring the Isis so if the Innuos tops both it certainly warrants investigation by me.
Is ita a valve or solid state Isis you have? would love to hear your opinion on this and the Innuos.
Have heard from many quarters that the Rega Isis is phenomenal. CDs sound amazing and I’d be keen to hear your thoughts!
On a different note, have you compared the valve isis with solid state isis ?
@Killersteve Did you use the ISIS's USB input for the test?
Have you tried the ISIS USB input?
Really? my understanding was it covered < 24/192.. thats a shame, they missed a trick IMHO
I will try it this week, but Isis USB supports up to 44,1kHz only.
Tried the DAC on USB of the Isis but it didn’t worked.
The MAC couldn‘t find the DAC. No idea what‘s went wrong
The USB input on the Isis is synchronous and needs a powered USB input. Possible the problem?
