I find cling film literally indispensable. Most supermarket dispensers are useless.

Was recommended to get a dispenser from Muji, which I did and it was brilliant. Right up until Muji stopped selling the refills - they're 30cm rolls and most supermarket stuff is 35cm, apart from the rubbish budget stuff.

But there are some cases where using a cloth towel won’t do, like cleaning up grease, oil and some food stains.

Paper towels are tolerable if used in moderation and recycled. Those used to mop food stains can also composted.

That’s even worse. Here in Minneapolis, they can either be recycled or composted (if stained with food waste). The city does weekly pickups for both.

Really, Bob? Not that one would want to if used, of course, but it is paper, after all.

I like the printed ones, where I can read, mark, learn and outwardly absorb.
