After discovering my Origin Live Silver Mk2 is not tall enough for my 301 with standard strobe platter, I'm in need of increasing its height by circa 2cms.
I would have expected debate to be raging somewhere online about the best way of doing this, particularly considering the popularity of this arm and deck, but can find very little.
My inclination is to keep it simple with some form of collet/nut extension under the armboard (this would also look better and be the least trouble as I've already drilled a 24mm hole) but don't want to risk compromising the sound.
Do any of you have any strong feelings/advice on this? The arm is based on RB250 so any approach valid for that arm should work.
