Hi. Any info please would be much appreciated )
I have TLS-50Mk2, sourced coles for the supertweeters as originals shot. Do I need to mod the crossover to accept these? Cap change? Cheers, Mark

I used to own a pair of IMF TLS80 ... found the above posted site very good .... you may be able to contact someone on there who is knowleagble

also try Wembleyloudspeakers in London .... they are pretty good

The original supertweeters are Celestion HF2000s, right? What is the impedance? I think the Coles tweeters have a very high impedance, on the order of 21 ohms or so, so if the crossover was designed to accommodate an 8-ohm or 16-ohm tweeter, it won't match.

Celestion HF 2000s are NOT super tweeters, they are from the Ditton 66 for one.

I would have thought a like for like drop in replacement would not require mods to the xover, the super tweeter really doesn't do all that much.

Wilmlsow Audi are also very helpful.

Thunderous bass on those IMFs and very smooth.

Hi, they look like 2000's but are an AKG type of piezo, so I gather, but I'm not sure.

Yep they sure sound smooth, gorgeous (who needs Tannoys eh?) even without the coles in.
Learnt they need a 0.18uf cap instead of the 0.1uf. Jobs a goodun
