Image retention on old iMac?

I have a 2008 24" iMac that I use on my work bench, I've never had this issue before until today but earlier I installed the Qobuz app and I've had it running for a lot of the day, now there's a ghost image of the Qobuz interface "burned" into the middle of my screen... can you get rid of it? I'm really hoping so because it's super annoying!

I think it did, I ran a few special videos in full screen and then left it off until mid day today, it’s fine now.
I was trying to touch a couple of photos up and I could see the imprint of the Qobuz player app, I was worried, I love that computer. It’s old but still working great, I’m not ready to shell out on a new one at the moment.
