If I could trouble you yet again…

Thank-you so much everyone who has contributed, donated. It’s humbling and inspiring at the same time that between us we can make such a difference. Thank-you again.

Just a week to go until the first of the two runs, and a little up in case any of you wonderful people haven’t seen this thread and would like to donate. Training has been going ok, 15km yesterday, leg not dropped off today, so calf strain considered mended for now.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of fifty, Papyrus try to help prevent suicide in young people under the thirty five, £5 will pay for a contact with their Hopeline, £65 will keep their text, email and Hopeline services open for over an hour. So far my wonderful friends have raised enough to keep it open for over ten hours. The support of so many of you is humbling.

Thank-you everyone

Thanks Robs. A 4:20 get up but I survived. I really want to thank each and every one of you who’ve sponsored me. It means such a lot. I went to see my friend yesterday whose son committed suicide aged 15. His wife is a trustee of Papyrus, they’re such inspirational people, but also they’re incredibly grateful as every penny raised will help other people avoid the pain and anguish they’ve been through. Today when I’m struggling, and I suspect struggle I will as niggles and injuries have got in the way of training, I will be thinking of his son, my friend Trevor’s brother, my friend Carl’s brother and a musician friend I used to play with who all committed suicide, and were all far too young with too much life to live.
Thanks all of you.
