1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

This Kent (UK) based fishie fancies a jam. Have played bass in (covers/weddings/original) bands on and off for the last 25 years, and have an inclination to play some more, mainly bass but could do guitar no probs.

There's some rehearsal rooms near Maidstone (in Linton) that could stand some blues/rock based "amateur noodling", and this post really is to work out any potential interest from drummers, guitarists, leys, vocalists etc The idea would be to use the provided amps, kit and not make this too much effort.

"All Welcome" as they say, I have no expectations other than to turn up and maybe knock out a Zep-style blues.

Absolutely no double-blind amp/cable/string tests whatsoever.

Garn. You know you want to.

I'd love to take you up on your offer, but I'm a little far away in Cambridge.

Any PFM jazzers who find themselves in Cambridge on a Saturday morning with nothing to do should check out this group: http://cambridgejazzcoop.org.uk/wp/

Thanks Sean, I used to live very near to the M11 so maybe I should have posted this before I moved!
