I recently bought a copy of this book, being a fan of Brian Wilson's music.
It's a rather rambling read, which fits in with BW's way of talking.
Nevertheless it gives a new insight into what makes Wilson the man he is, especially when he writes about his Father.
It was compiled with another writer, as I suspect it would be even more rambling without the input.
Although I love Beach Boys music, it's Wilson's solo work which really interests me. He is an observer of life as he sees it.
Unlike some, I really like his last album 'No Pier Pressure.'
Not everybody's cup of tea I know.
Overall the book is a good read in my opinion.
No doubt others will disagree.
