HP laptop noise

My HP laptop has made a racket for months. I looked at the repair on youtube. It showed how to remove a million screw, completely strip every bit of the laptop, blow out the fan and heat sink fans to remove dust. Then hopefully put it back together. Time 2 hours plus!
Or you could cut out and bin the plastic fan cover and heat sink cover. Time taken 10 mins.

Or you could get a compressor and blow 6 bar through it backwards and clear all the fluff and crap out of it. I do that about once every 6 months works a charm.

Good idea. Wonder why HP don't make a removable cover to allow cleaning. The amount of people complaining about overheating must reduce sales.
