We've not seen any activists out an about in our area yet - suspect it'll be viewed as a safe SNP seat (although there wasn't that much in in between SNP and the Tories last time - only just over 1000 votes). The Tories might put some effort in, however there is a substantial swing to the SNP expected and that's probably correct.

There is a little questionnaire thing on it here to find ones position on the ‘3d Map’ thingy. I come out somewhere between ‘strong left’ and ‘progressive’, though I didn’t think the questions got to some important stuff both socially and economically. There is certainly a lot on the ‘strong left’ I reject that wasn’t touched on anyway! My results were:

Your Economic position is 43° Left, your National position is 75° International, and your Social position is 71° Liberal.

You are economically strongly left-wing, very strongly globalist, and strongly socially liberal.

This is a better model than previous I have seen but yet again the questions are simplistic. That said, I agree with the summary and love the description Kind Young Capitalist

Economic 13° Right mildly right-wing
National 75° International very strongly globalist
Social 63° Liberal strongly socially liberal

Same for me - Edinburgh South West?

Well, I scored almost identically.
Economic 43° Left strongly left-wing
National 84° International very strongly globalist
Social 71° Liberal strongly socially liberal
Some of the questions weren't very well worded, or they were leading, or ambiguous. IMO.

Oh apparently I'm Strong Left and I'm surrounded by Kind Yuppies. That's handy.

Your Economic position is 43° Left, your National position is 92° International, and your Social position is 88° Liberal.

You are economically strongly left-wing, very strongly globalist, and very strongly socially liberal.

I’m highly annoyed I’m getting beaten on being globalist and socially liberal. I’ll take it again later! I also think it got me economically wrong too as I believe very much in small business, personal innovation etc and have absolutely no time for the trough-feeding lumpen proletariat trade union barons etc that always end up in far-left-wing politics.

PS Up the petite bourgeoisie, obvs!

Your Economic position is 57° Right, your National position is 12° International, and your Social position is 55° Liberal.

You are economically strongly right-wing, mildly globalist, and strongly socially liberal.

I'm intrigued to know how people understand the meaning of the word 'globalist'.

I'm apparently a 'kind young capitalist', so I must be successfully defying my 60 years.

Why not plug these numbers into the Windows RGB custom colours chart and see what colour your politics really come out as?

Voted 'Other' as none of the NI parties are listed. In my constituency, a goat in a green white & orange cloak would romp home, so if one is not of that persuasion it's just too bad. At least whoever gets elected in most of your constituencies will take up their seat.

There are currently 23 folk on here who take the anonymously part seriously. I don't imagine the warm hearted ,caring, broad minded socialists on here would like to hazard a guess as to why ?

I’ll have a go: well educated, well off Tories are uncomfortable declaring their selfishness publicly.

How do you know? (The bolded bit).

I've had a few goes at getting the pond life who vote tory to admit their selfish, callous motivation but none has ever done so... I guess even they know they are in the wrong!

Every day we spend not in the EU, a bunny like this one gets it.
