How to fix a 'popped' PCB track.

Hmm, well what a fool I am, I've lifted a PCB track, just the pab and about 5mm of track, on one of my MC boards (323).

What is the best way of fixing it? Knowing that I may want to unsolder and solder it again.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I clumsily lifted part of a track on my A5; used super glue to stick it down again. Seems to work. If the piece of track has completely detached you'd have to solder over the break of course.

While the amount of super-glue you would use in this case is very small it is generally not a good idea to use cyano-acrylates in any situation when it might get too hot.
It gives off noxious fumes when heated! (probably cyanide or a compound of)
I guess the amount in question would not be a health issue but I thought it was worth mentining. I suspect, like most glues, it would loose its strength when heated also.

I can't think of an suitable alternative adheasive. It would be interesting to know what is used to stick the copper to the board in the first place.

Thanks for the info on Super Glue. I've used Araldite, two part, 24hr to cure stuff.

When I back back home I'll try the super glue idea.

Thanks
