How to Clean Contacts

Hello

Seen this topic on other forums. Since I've heard the best thing is not to clean them, what do you do if you buy a piece of used kit, and want to insure the removal of anything that the previous owners may have used. Sprays are out, but is is okay to use Eth alchohol and cotton swabs (for example)or not ?

Deoxite is good.....

I've used duraglit ......it depends on the muck if its compacted dust the alchol should shift it corrosion and oxidation can be sorted with the other two products. always check that the product will not adversley affect the metal first on a test area.

just delete outlook and reinstall - should clean em out nicely
