Back in the 70s it was always 360 miles round trip from Elgin to Edinburgh to buy stuff from Russ Andrew's HiFi in Northumberland Street. Only 120 miles of that on dual carriageway or motorway. Always best to allow 4 hours each way soon we will have dual carriageway from Aviemore so only 50 miles each way on single carriageway.
