Home office setup

Hi,
Looking for some advice on modifying the audio setup for my home office, which is where I do most of my listening, and hope you might be able to help, please.
I currently have a Cambridge Audio Dacmagic plus, connected to a Rega Brio R and some Neat Motive 2s. The source is a MacBook Pro running Audirvana, files are generally Apple lossless files. I'm generally happy with the system, but I've been afflicted with upgradeitis and the desire for a bit more bass and mids.
The DacMagic labels itself as a preamp as well as a DAC, so could I connect that to a power amp, and from there into the speakers? Or would I be better off with a preamp + power amp, or an integrated?
I'm also considering replacing the speakers... would Monitor Audio GR60s be a good upgrade from the Neats if I went down the power amp route?

Thanks for your help!
Richard
