Hive radiator valves

The temperatures are dropping, our oil tank will shortly need topping up and I will be wandering around the house turning radiators on and off all day. Some of the house is heated by a wood burner and aga in the evening and much of it doesn't need heating most of the day.

Hive valves and hub look like a brilliant idea. Are they as simple and easy to use as the blurb implies?

Anyone here got them installed?

The hub is, especially voice controlled through Alexa!
I have manual thermostatic valves.

If the valves can be remotely controlled ala set a temp for that room and a time then yes it’s a good idea. I haven’t use them, only the hub.

There seem to be quite a lot of negative reviews online regarding reliability.

I believe reliability is an issue with them

The also take a few minutes to react to the controlling app

But the plus side of their use is high all the same
