Is it me but as I’ve aged so has my hifi, I’ve got kit made before I was born.
In my twenties I’d have mocked me for being a dinosaur.
 
The easier it is to use, the more you will use it.

Replaced a very good turntable, which required separate four switches to be flicked, the dust cover to be placed carefully somewhere, patience while it got up to speed, and precise cueing to prevent stylus damage, with a classic automatic record player - press one button, move the arm and we're off.

I'm am intrigued. I am trying to think of a deck that required four switches to be used prior to cueing.
