Do you mean the amp in the flashback? Looked a bit Luxman-y to me. The current Moon amp looks nice too 
He often has speakers rather than headphones - though we have only seen them once and I couldnt see them properly!
PS - I havent read the book and am eagerly awating the final episode

The flashback was a McIntosh amp (or integrated). It could have also been the MX-110Z.
