...no doubt done before but let's do another thread......American Psycho (Kef R105/3's - which I once had).

....9 1/2 weeks.......

In the TV series Lovesick, there’s a Quad 33/FM3 that make a regular appearance.

I could think of many more but I’ve already answered those on similar threads before so I’ll let others chime in.
I always enjoy these types of threads by the way.

In Narcos the Cali Cartels leaders house, Gilberto Rodrigues had a pair of JBL 250ti.

What a smart man.

Just watched an old IT Crowd last night where Moss gets invited to (be cooked for) dinner. There's a nice B&O 6500(?) stack in the corner:

Very cool. Someone offered me a 6500 system in need of electronic restoration a few years ago but I was way too busy to actually complete it at the time, so I just politely declined... I’m kicking myself now, I’d definitely have found the time by now. It was cosmetically pristine.

Another industrial design favorite of mine from the 90's, Todd and Margot's B&O 4500 from Christmas Vacation:

"And why is the carpet all wet, Todd?"
"I don't know, Margo!"

ADC Accutrac 4000 in Columbo.

Mr. Big in Sex and the City had a B&O Beosound 9000 and Beolab 8000s plus a Rega Planar 3 turntable. But no, phono stage, oddly!

B&O are probably the most widely featured specialist brand in movies, no surprise since their stuff looks so cool. They’ve made a lot of iconic designs, especially through the 80s and 90s.

Another brand that is very widely featured in movies is Mcintosh, again because of its striking and iconic aesthetics.

I’ve no doubt that both brands willing supply their kit as movie/tv props, it’s good publicity after all.

Indecent Proposal has a very upmarket VPI turntable that the billionaire Richard Gere character uses to play a record as part of his seduction routine on board his yacht.

Before the Winter Chill features a character listening to what looks like some low rent French equipment - neither Cairn nor YBA. I reckon that the equipment was already in the property chosen for the film?
