Heard a chamber orchestra play a minimalist composition called Three Pieces in Old Style and loved it. Reminded me of Arvo Part.
Any Gorecki album recommendations ?

Symphony 3 is the famous one - you will almost certainly have heard it / recognise it. A lovely piece of music.

I have his String Quartet No. 3, as performed by Kronos Quartet.

I know for many that will be two strikes against; this particular piece isn't widely loved, nor is Kronos, necessarily. But I like it. Probably worth some youtubing before you purchase, though.

Bear in mind I know essentially zip about minimalist classical, other than knowing what I like (which includes a shedload of Pärt stuff).

Symphony 3 (Symphony of Sorrowful songs) as Tony says is the popular one.

The version that was top of the classical sales for ages was by Dawn Upshaw with the London Sinphonietta. Very Good.

There is a version available on Naxos by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antoni Wit that is very good. Its partenered on the CD with 3 Pieces In The Old Style.

No 3 is a great piece of music IMO.
