Help ! static buzzing noise in speakers !

Hi

Turned my stuff on today and I could hear a static buzzing type of noise through the speakers, louder in one than the other !

even with the amp volume turn to 0 it was still there !

Before I start dismantling everything has anyone any idea's as to where to start?

I run a puresound A30 valve amp so could it be a problem with one of the valve/rectifiers?

Check and see if one of your loudspeaker cables or interconnect is sitting alongside an AC cable.
