Help near RH1/M25 J8 to recap mdac power caps

The 5 power caps on my mdac are starting to bulge and need replacing (http://www.pinkfishmedia.net/forum/showthread.php?t=202863).

It's outside my DIY competence. I know IAG will repair for £48 plus the cost of the caps, but they take a month or more. Does anyone know of someone more local, or is there a pfm diy'er who could do it faster (for payment, of course)?

You could try asking for a competent technician on the main audio section where there is a 'wider' audience.

Also if you sourced the caps first it might help.

Thanks Misterdog - you've been a great source of help and advice. I've found an advert for a 'repairman' nearby who had Audiolab on his list of products he can repair. I'll give him a shout next week to see what he can do.
