HELP - Central Heating - flush system - Wirral - Do you know of anyone

My mother in law is, literally, dying.

central heating not working properly.
Needs a complete flush.

live on the wirral.

Sorry to hear about your mother in law and her heating problems. If you could detail the symptoms and type of heating system it might help identify other possible solutions and/or allow plumbers to respond more accurately.

I can highly recommend John Johnson Heating Engineer http://www.johnsonheating.co.uk

He replaced our boiler about 15 years ago and has been doing the annual service since then. Clean, reliable, friendly and professional.

He is on the Liverpool side of the Mersey but I think he covers The Wirral.

Pump replaced a few days ago.
Huge amount of air in system, my wife bled the radiators for 24hours
Central heating stopped working.
Engineer arrived yesterday (Monday) said pipes are blocked, needs a flush.
Radiators are getting slightly warm, but the system might stop anytime.

So, we need some sort of emergency flush of the system.
My mother in laws house is in Bebington, wirral.

I used Geoff Simmons, Hoylake - 07810 718500 to fix my boiler on the recommendation of my brother in law a couple of years ago, as I know he always uses him. Hope that helps.

You can hire a flush pump, took me a couple of days on a two pump system including a few upgrades.

Replace inhibitor afterwards.

It was amazing how thick and black the first slug from ours was.

Have a quick look round on You Tube and you'll see how simple it is.

Just looked into the flush pump hire - looks great.
However, at our age we would need someone, who knows what they are doing, to use it.
Very helpful information though, thank you.
