Into my shiny new cdq headphone socket I'm using my rather cheap Sennheiser HD 435's They are not too bad at all, in fact very good as they were so cheap. The trouble is that they have a cable with a built in cheap attenuator.
I think it would be better without it.
The cable is detachable, so I was wondering if there is an internet place where I might get a clean, decent cable with a 3.5mm jack at either end (or 6.5mm at one to fit the cdq)?
Not mega expensive of course, but not one of the nasty throw away ones.
