[FS] Graham Audio LS8/1

I bought a pair of Spendor BC1s late last year and liked them very much, so decided to buy a modern-day version, the Graham Audio LS8/1.

These were purchased at the end of November 2022 brand new, so are now about six weeks' old. They were intended for my main listening room but just don't work in that space with the partnering equipment.

I've moved them down to my office (replacing the BC1s) and they are much better but I can't really justify having them as office speakers.

So I've decided to sell them, keep the BC1s and also stick with Tannoy Cheviots in the main system.

The current retail price of these speakers is £4,712. I also bought a pair of Spendor-type stands to go with them at £200.

I'm selling for £3,700 with the stands thrown in for free, if wanted.

Payment by cash or bank transfer only.

Collection from Denbighshire in North Wales. I may be able to deliver subject to distance etc.

I have all the original packaging including double boxes. Do not want to use couriers as this point.

Some pictures (these speakers are in as-new condition):

Thanks for looking, Peter

Forgot to say in the opening that these do sound really, really good and I have been very tempted to keep them but hard to justify....

Price reduction bump: now £3,600.

Current list price is £4,700 so that's quite a saving on speakers that are about six weeks old.

Also, stands are included in that price.

it's great having such a nice pair of speakers in my office but I can't justify keeping them so updated price of £3,500.

Happy also to discuss near to this price offers.

Hi stereosteve,

I don't think they need a big room, they seem happier in my office space.

Amp in my listening room is a Denon PMA 2500NE and the one in my office a Gato Dia 250.

It's always hard to know with rooms to be fair.

My listening room is not big either but does have quite a high ceiling .

Hello.
“Space, and equipment used”. Could you elaborate please. Do they need a big room?

Since moving these to my office have found that they are really good for low-level listening.

Speakers are 1.68m apart and I'm about 2.2m from them. There is space between the speakers and the wall of (53cm from the front baffle).

Bump.

Another bump. Been listening to all sorts of music through these today. Really enjoyed it.

Happy to consider close offers to the revised asking price of £3,500.
