I'm sure there are plenty of "amateur" musicians on Pink Fish who dabble in a bit of writing and recording, or are members of bands. Personally, I love hearing demos - no record company interference, just a pure, raw statement by the band or artist.
Would you like to share the results with us? Simply post a link to your web site, Myspace, etc. and brace yourself for the backlash!
A few "rules":
1. You must own the rights to the recordings. There are plenty of places on the net to exchange pirate material, please don't use this site. To avoid any legal grey areas, no cover versions
2. Please keep any feedback or criticism constructive and civil. If it degenerates into abuse, it's likely that no-one else will post their links.
3. If you post your demo - understand that you have effectively lost control of it, so take precautions to ensure you can prove you own copyright when you hear your song on the radio.
