Goldring MC cartridge thoughts

I'm a fan of the Goldring Elite, using one for a couple of years on an original Mission 774 where it's very at home and conceptually close the arm's original partner, the 773 MC.

It's a light cartridge though so worth checking it works in your arm.

Clean, tight and neutral, not warm or romantic at all. Has a great stylus - not quite to micro ridge standards but close.

I've kept an Eroica LX in the drawer for some time as a spare but last week I decided to fit it and check it out. I have to say it's a surprisingly nice cartridge. The only thing I could ask for is a touch more bass though that may be my phono stage.
