The jazz pianist Geoff Castle was a good friend and we did many gigs together, as well as our families hanging out together. Sadly Geoff passed a few years ago. He was well-known on the London jazz scene and a lovely, genuine guy. I received this email from his family.
"After a profoundly long silence from Family Castle and Caroline in particular...we are proud to announce the release of Geoff's last work, completed just before he left us. Geoff Castle's trio performed at Ronnie Scott’s and attracted such beautiful attention, so much so, we felt compelled to realize this work. With the thoughtful and dedicated work of Mark Rose and Emiliano Caroselli & Marta Capponi, we are now proud to release Geoff's closing album. To celebrate this event, we'll be hosting an evening with some of the amazing musicians that made his music happen.
