After being a long time "Dicks" fan, then "Sister Double Happiness" (and if that wasn't enough), finally blown away by "Black Kali Ma", I listened to a solo blues cd by frontman Gary Floyd (Backdoor Preacher Man). With one of the most unique voices in punk, rock and blues, is there anything he can't sing? One of my favourite recordings by this band (SDH) was a Roky Erickson (Thirteenth Floor Elevators) tune called "Red Temple Prayer(two headed dog)" off a tribute album called "Where the Pyramid Meets the Eye". Do yourself a favour...JUST DO IT!!
