Gabi Delgado from D.A.F. RIP

They were a great band, Der Mussolini a dancefloor classic (and the theme to the last series of Vic & Bob’s Big Night Out). RIP.

these are my D.A.F. L.P's, wonderful stuff, played them all recently but enjoying giving them some volume today.

(great sound quality by the way on vinyl, not heard them on c.d. )
 
Only got an autographed best of and a Robert Gorl 7" 'Mit Dir' myself.
Always liked them but never got around to buying the original albums.

RIP Gabi Delgado.

the original ones I have sound good. there has been reissues in 2018, but I haven't heard them.

there is a remix thing from a couple of years ago, but i ain't heard it.
 
Gabi's solo album, Mistress is worth tracking down.
The DAF remix album was patchy, but had some great reworks.

The compilation is the Mute 2009 'Das Beste Von DAF', to be honest the sound is loud and compressed from memory (1998 remasters apparently).
