The Luxman D-05u SACD Player uses a USB anabled DAC incorporating trickle-down technology from the flagship Luman D-08u. A stunning feature to this player is Luxman's proprietary drive mechanism the LxDTM that features a highly rigid design. The Luxman D-05u SACD Player uses a pair of Texas Instruments 32 bit DAC PCM1795 chips allowing a fully balanced configuration for the output circuit. A very useful feature is a USB input that accepts up to 192 kHz/ 32bit PCM, and DSD 5.6 MHz, ideal to add a storge/streaming device such as a melco or innuos.
