I saw them at the Troxy last night. I'm a big Sparks (living legends) fan so that bit was safe. I'd seen FF once before and they were lacking personality on stage but played good music. I haven't got the FFS album yet so I wasn't entirely au fait with the songs, however............they were fooking ace. The new stuff sat well with the old stuff. It was great to hear "this town...." With a more traditional band as they haven't toured with one for years (apart from the whole Kimono album at RFH a few years ago {am I right here?}). #1 song missed the beginning section but had an extended drum break with all the band playing drums while Ron danced. The FF "hits" are every bit as sing alongable as anything else played. Oh and jumparoundable. Very enjoyable. Very hot. Piss off (you had to be there for that one).
