  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    My sympathies also.
We also lost Dad during the first lockdown; but thankfully when things had opened up a little more, so we could have a few more friends and family there.
Our music choices were a little more mainstream, it must be said. I don't think Mum would have gone for anything off Tilt, Bisch Bosch, or The Drift.

As for listening to the whole album - sometimes you need a hit of weird, and Tilt certainly is that.
I rarely listen to his later difficult albums; but when I do is has to be alone and very loud.

Oh gosh, I couldn’t manage much of this link, but nice labrador...

I have a couple of his albums from ages ago, so will give Mahal a go, tks. Nice pad back then...

Nice to hear him getting weird again. I admit I much prefer his Raster Noton sound (Stabil) over his techno.

Happily listening away. Different for these guys. Decent nonetheless.

A suitably moody cover shot for Frost, an ep to follow 2021’s excellent debut album from pianist and post-classical composer Eydís Evensen...

Out on Sony offshoot XXIM last month, though as with their stealthy release of Hania Rani’s soundtrack to Venice: Infinitely Avantgarde a couple of months ago, seems to be d/l or streaming only for now.

Liking The Smile album a lot, and the recent Bodega album is a bit good bit of fun.

The Smile’s album really could have been a Radiohead release. Not surprisingly. Agree it’s excellent.

    Will listen to Bodega.

Wet Leg - ‘Wet Leg’ is rather good, really nicely produced also, SQ certainly above average.

Just came out but I'm very impressed:
    36 - Symmetry Systems
    https://pitp.bandcamp.com/album/symmetry-systems

Synth-driven ambient with a particular early 90's vibe. The artist compares it to Warp's Artificial Intelligence series. I don't 100% agree but certainly the same era.

Has there been a new release from Bodega? Must have missed that.
