empty directory

music server /zone ripper not able to access its contents when streaming selected music file shows empty directory. A qnap server runs ok . could anyone help please
 
Can you provide more info, including how are they connected, what is the make of the music server, and was it working before or is this a new setup?

its a zone ripper faultless for years all wired jus happened a few days ago . ,no different things added . powered down a few times and full scans but no joy thanks i have two servers the other is qnap 210 works fine /both have db power installed thanks
 
Is it the case that you can't see any files in the \\zoneripper\music share when you are browsing from a windows PC, or trying to access it from a streamer? If the folder is empty when browsing from a windows PC then I think the hard drive could have become corrupted, or perhaps the networking has a problem - can you see the Zoneripper on the network using Explorer on a windows PC?
