Anybody else using a 10x5 though a Nait 5i-2 amp?

Considering getting a 10x5 for use with my Nait 5i-2 amp and wonder what the volume will be like.

Comparing it with my Naim CD5i (italic) which is up for sale.

Now moving back to vinyl and wonder how much increase in volume I can expect to have to use on the volume knob for loud output.

my speakers are Motive 2, and for CD I use about 9 o'clock on the volume which gives me a loud sound through the speakers.

The output of the 10X5 is lower than the average moving magnet cartridge (though it is a high output moving coil) though is expected to be used with moving magnet phono stages. It can be problematical with lower-power amplifiers, and used to bug me when I played it through an old A & R A60 amp (rated at 35 watts per channel) as I had to advance the volume control past the twelve o'clock position (which I never liked doing) No further problems when using more powerful amplifiers. Next played it through Rega Mira 3 without problem, and my current amp-Rega Brio-R has plenty of power also. Don't know how much power is available from your Naim...
