DM 4's loaded with 'you know what' on Epay

Watching already, thanks.

Good speakers, but these are early ones, bass units have the white/ translucent surrounds that are prone to shrinking. (similar problem to that of the early Spendor BC1 bass unit)

anyone here with an experience with either dm4 or dm2/II

it seems to be they have the same drivers (coles and celestion for sure, don't know about the bass).

how would they compare with spendors or rogers of that era?

DM4 in my view are very nice speakers, great value until people realize that they have a lot in common with Spendor BC1 etc. and the price goes up. I have Spendor BC1, BC2 etc. The DM4s in a a shootout here a few years ago were preferred to the BC1 by the people here.

DM2/II has nothing in common with the BC1 in the way of drive units, but the DM2 and DM2a have the same Celestion HF1300 and Coles 4001G tweeters as the Spendor BC1, BC2 and B&W DM4.

Oh well... they went for £26.00 in the end. I seem to remember selling a pair of Coles for more than that! Lucky someone..??

Think it was collect only, otherwise I may have bid.

As you say, someone got a bargain.

Cheapest I got a pair for was about £35 and that was about 4 years ago.
