DIY lead for Bi-amping

zener

fluff
I need to make up a lead so I can connect my NAC82 to my 250zen and A260Z for bi-amping , I've got the 4 pin DIN and the two XLRs , now what do you folk recommend for the cable. I'm using one amp for treble and the other for bass/mid duties so I've got to get 6 cables into the 4 pin DIN (left and right and 0V from each XLR). I like the look and sound of the Van Damme green series cable the Stevesinspain gave me....thanks ... Jon
Dont forget I'm running an Avondale APX4 so only have the 4 pin DIN pre amp out for signal.

I make up my own cables using silver plated copper with PTFE sleeve e.g. Farnell 1184117

I twist them by hand to make a twisted pair and cover them with nylon braid e.g. Farnell 1168986

It would be a bit of a squeeze but I think you should be able to fit six in to a DIN plug.

Why try to squeeze all the conductors into a DIN plug. why not do all the junctions in a little project box.

M.

use the ptfe sleeve and connect with 0.2mm silver .....

I can send you a few metres if you want.

Ahh that's where my stereo green Van Damme cable went!

I have the mono versions too if you ever need any?
