  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Im looking for an amp to be used purely for desktop listening on an iMac/Audirvana/Tidal replacing KEF X300a active speakers that have developed a fault.
Monitor Audio Studio speakers (Just purchased on PFM).
I have an Arcam rdac with Teddy power supply....I also have an ifi Nano DSD DAC.
I will be buying used but should I use one of the DACs above and an integrated amp....Quad 77, Cyrus , MF X80 or X-A2 or other. Or perhaps an all-in-one box i.e Leema Pulse 3 (Currently on the classified) ???
    Budget below £400.

Any thoughts or experience most welcomed.

Thanks for the ideas but I was intending to buy an older 2nd hand amp, trying out then being able to move on if not to my taste.......part of an enjoyable process to me. However given the initial recommendations perhaps a smaller modern amp designed specifically for desktop use is the way to go......not my preferred choice but something it seems I should consider.
