Well I tried this again as an experiment on my mains wall socket plugs. It made my system sound wiry, Cleaning the surfaces wih Kontak, which cleaned off a black contamination, returned my system to normal. I find that the Kontak two bottle version of old worked better but needed more regular maintenance. Am I trying the right version of the seemingly popular Deoxit?
