Denon DCD-1700NE CD/SACD Player

I have the DCD-A110 and it's fantastic. I believe they share the same transport that’s ultra quiet and a very high quality.
I know someone who had the 1700 and really liked it but they’ve recently bought a very expensive Accuphase. I certainly don’t think you’d go wrong and the build quality is superb.

I have the predecessor 1600 and it’s very capable as an SACD player and as a CD transport into a different dac. As a CD player on its own I prefer my others.
I bought mine from HiFi Gear and it had an intermittent sticky drawer from when I got it. Last week, over a year from purchase, I finally sent it back. They sent it to Denon who checked it over, replaced the belt and returned it. Took six days in total.
