I spotted some comments on here about Deep Purple's form. I was invited to a concert while they were in NZ ( North Shore Entertainment Center , Auckland) two weeks ago ,and didn't go, because of the mixed reviews I saw on PFM.
Unbeknownst to me, three people I work with ( and their kids !) went, and I've heard only good reviews . One guy in my office ( muso) went specifically to see Steve Morse, and ran into some other guys from the office.
Very small venue, and not full.
