RIP Mr Warner, very fine Actor, will be missed.
 
I first saw him in Time After Time. Also as a Russian imperial official in The Fixer. Quality relaxed style.
 
One of those actors who popped up in lots of films & TV shows. One of those constants that's now gone. :-(

A real shame ...

One of those actors who appeared to be always there and in so many films ...

I only really remember him from Morgan (which I was too young to understand at the time) and Providence (when I was a bit older, but still didn't really understand..)

Providence was fantastic, and yes, very odd, although John Gielgud’s character had a glass of wine (Chablis IIRC) in his hand virtually throughout, which obviously appealed. Sadly, I never saw Morgan.
 
I saw it years and years ago on an old B&W television with such poor reception that it was as if every programme had been filmed in the Arctic.
