How well does anyone know the circuits for Croft pre's?
Fitting a socket for a headphone amp' to the front of a Croft pre would be simple enough - just connect to the source for the tape out socket - the centre of the PU/Line selector switches, and ground.
But how would I cut the signal to the speakers? Where in the circuit does the mute switch operate? Or would simply dropping the volume pot's to zero work to cut the speakers but allow the headphone amp' to get a signal?
Hopefully that makes sense.....
