Crazy Amazon Prime Delivery Route

Ordered some Vietnamese pho noodles om Amazon Prime, around $12 worth, here is the tracking:

Package arrived at a carrier facility

Package departed an Amazon facility

Package arrived at an Amazon facility

So aside from the original shipment to Amazon, it is then air freighted by Amazon from their distribution center in Brazil to California?
 
You need to speak to a logistics expert. Very much under-rated folks.

I live about a mile from one of Amazon's "fulfillment centres" and most of my orders exit there to go to an Amazon distribution centre around 25 miles away, and get delivered to me from there.
 
It could be a mistyped entry for the point of origin (the product/retailer page on amazon should say where it was shipped from). If it did come from Brazil, it just goes to show how efficient Amazon's logistics are!
