Trinity Session revisited

Is this a new album, or (just) a reissue of the original Trinity Sessions? The original has been a fave for many a year.

The original 'Trinity Session' on LP is very nice, indeed. In the late 80's its in most everyone's list to bring to Dealers for Hi-Fi auditions, or was it 'the caution something' !?

Its on CD/DVD, not sure if it is available on LP. Its a new recording too if I'm not mistaken

Richard, as Mat Bon correctly states it's a totally new album recorded on CD /DVD at the church of the Holy Trinity in Toronto, Natalie Merchant and Ryan Adams guest too. It was recorded in one 14 hour session - brilliiant musicianship and an excellent quality recording too. The included documentary is very interesting as a bonus.

Thanks for the link - one of my favourite bands - sadly didn't get to the concert at the Albert Hall a few months ago to hear the trinity session live! Been listening to Lavender Diamond recently, similar melancholy with amazing vocals from Becky Stark (one dodgy track on the album but some brilliant ones...)
